New Gladiators is a holovision show developed by and starring Grace Divine. A show resembling the 20th Century Gladiators show it throws in a healthy dose of genuine violence to the show's outdated format.

Recent additions to the show have dampened down some of the 'violent' content.

Grace Divine, in a recent interview, said:

The new format is designed to preserve the sanctity of life. I have become aware that certain factions have taken the imagery of New Gladiators and applied it to their own lives. I cannot condone this, nor can I be seen to support it. The new games will reflect the competitive element but will place athletic ability and mental speed above sheer brawn and weaponry. These are ideals I espouse in my position as the Spirit of Competition - a role I have taken on for the coming Global Olympiad. I cannot jeopardise my position as spiritual guide to the masses.

Recent additions to the New Gladiators roster have met with a mixed response.

Golden Emperor is an ancient looking Oriental who moves like a reed in the breeze. He is a fantastic martial artist.

Furball is an incredibly hairy beast-like man - savage yet cuddly. Recent genetic engineering by Yasuko Tanaka has made Furball much stronger and more fierce.

Chaka is a Zulu warrior with immense presence and strength who wields an assegai in combat.

Other New Gladiators include Cuchullain and Simba with more joining the troupe all the time.
